Hlabatau was previously the CFO of the Cross Border Road Transport Agency (C-BRTA) and Legal Aid South Africa respectively. She holds a number of degrees and diplomas, including a post graduate diploma in accounting science (CTA) from the University of South Africa (UNISA). She is also a qualified chartered accountant, holding the globally recognised CA(SA).
